Hyundai Heavy, Daewoo International win US$250 million order for transformers

Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., the world's largest shipyard, said Tuesday that along with Daewoo International Corp. it has won a US$250 million deal from South Africa to provide transformers.

Under the deal with Eskom Holdings Ltd., the two South Korean firms will provide the transformers for 11 power stations in South Africa over 10 years starting next year.
